I completed my doctoral degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Clinical Psychology in 2007, specializing in health and rehabilitation psychology. I worked in academic medicine before transitioning to one of the largest healthcare systems in the U.S. I work with adults, ages 22 and older, across a broad range of medical and psychiatric conditions. I am formally trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I have completed additional studies in mindfulness, self-compassion, acceptance and commitment (ACT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I provide high quality, patient-centered, and compassion-oriented therapy.

Adults (22 and older)

I work with adults of all ages with depression, anxiety, stress, major medical conditions and disability, and other behavioral health concerns. One of my greatest passions is working with older adults (over 65) helping them to reduce anxiety, manage depression, and enhance adjustment to major life transitions and improve quality of life across the lifespan.

Health and Rehabilitation Psychology

I have trained and worked in Chicagoland's premiere medical establishments, specializing in working with individuals with chronic pain, amputation, heart disease, respiratory illness, movement disorders, and neurologic conditions.

My first love in the field of psychology was, and still is, working with individuals with disability and/or chronic medical conditions. My goal is to help you achieve your highest priorities, independence, and best quality of life.
